Gamification for Festival Organization Support

This bachelor thesis deals with the creation of a new module to be used in an already existing information system used for the organization of Animefest festival. The goal of this module is to create an interface for an effective evaluation and awarding of its users, the festival organizers. This is done with the use of gamification techniques. The purpose of this project is to help increase motivation for organizers' volunteer activities and for the improvement of their user experience.
Community-Based Portal

The goal of this work is to create community-based portal for Czech office of Red Hat company. This portal has to be easy to use and provide information from Red Hat in Brno to the local community. My job was to create this portal. To achieve the requirement specification, the most suitable web technology (Drupal - content management system) was chosen. Then, the portal was implemented.
Design of an Information System for the Těžební Unie Association

This work provides the analysis of the current situation of the organisation as well as thorough analysis of all the process related to the implementation of the information system. The proposal of the final design solution was prepared on the base of the results; this solution is ready to be used for the implementation of the information system in the organisation Těžební unie.
Drupal editing system

My Diploma thesis deals with the content management system Drupal, further explores the open source content management systems and puts the attention on Drupal 7. Analyzed the possibility of migration of Drupal version 6 to version 7. When you migrate, you must be aware of already existing structure, Web presentations already created user accounts, Web sites, databases. In the practical part of the Thesis is carried out on the migration of the Web slide show version of Drupal 7. After the migration, checked the correctness and functionality of all modules and Web content. Deployed a new content management system Joomla 2.5. The final presentation is supplemented by the necessary modules to optimize SEO. Configured with all necessary parameters for SEO. Influence of optimization tested and evaluated in detail the results obtained. Analysis and testing focused on Google and Seznam. The results of the analysis carried out optimization of Web presentation. All of the implemented modules updated and tested for functionality. In the website is implemented a language switch, and revised the contents of the pages. Carried out a complete testing of a Web presentation.
Festival Information System Modularization

This bachelor thesis focuses on the modularity of information systems, their architecture, and principles of module development. The primary focus is a content management system, Drupal. This work provides comprehensive documentation of Drupal in the context of an information system for human resource management used by Animefest festival. It designs a migration of an existing information system to the new main version of Drupal, implementation of support modules, and deployment. The second part practically illustrates the development of a gamification module and further analyses this issue.
Web Application for Managing and Classifying Information from Distributed Sources

This master's thesis deals with data mining techniques and classification of the data into specified categories. The goal of this thesis is to implement a web portal for administration and classification of data from distributed sources. To achieve the goal, it is necessary to test different methods and find the most appropriate one for web articles classification. From the results obtained, there will be developed an automated application for downloading and classification of data from different sources, which would ultimately be able to substitute a user, who would process all the tasks manually.
Support for Planning and Organizing of a Festival

The goal of this thesis is to design and implement an interface of a module for Drupal (content management system). The design is mostly created according to introduced principles of the community, thus there is a need to use some data from other parts of the system. The module is going to help to organizators of the festival with the shifts creation and management. The user interface is created with emphasis on fine usability on mobile devices.
Software design support of burglar alarm system

This thesis deals with implementation of software support of alarm system design for security levels 1 and 2 based on web technologies. It was created intuitive and interactive graphical interface that allows to create high-quality alarm system design even for laymen. First of all the paper deals with standards and jurisdictions in the Czech Republic, according to which the alarm system design must be followed. In theoretical part there are described in detail characteristics of alarm systems and its components, proper functioning principles, installation principle, advantages and disadvantages of use, individual steps of alarm system design and proposed methodology of alarm system design for security level 1 and 2. In practical part there are described the technologies used for the implementation of this paper, structure of created webpage and detailed steps of alarm system design, as seen by user during creating. The result of this paper is a webpage, which is divided into two parts: theoretical and practical. The theoretical part provides information about the alarm system architecture, alarm system design and established methodology for the alarm system design for security level 1 and 2. In the practical part the user, on the basis of gained information and interactive help, can create high-quality alarm system design that meets all the conditions for reliable function in real traffic.
Information System Supporting Festival Organisation

This thesis covers the modernization of an information system called HRYZ, which is used by organizers of the Animefest festival to organize the human resources needed for this festival. The chapters gradually introduce the content management systems, the information systems and the HRYZ information system itself. Then the chapters continue with a proposal for the system moderznization and a shift extension module modernization to ensure the compatibility with the base system. The modernization proposal was then implemented and tested with the users of current system. In the end, the new system was handed over to the festival organizers for further customziation and deployment.
